Ascott Raffles City Chengdu now offers long staying guests (stay of more than 1 month) the option to stay in PURE? Allergy Friendly Rooms. The average air we breathe can have anywhere from 9 million to 15 million small particles per cubic meter. A PURE room can reduce this number to as low as 150,000 particulates per cubic meter. The air is completely circulated four times per hour, filtering out the impurities that affect sensitive travelers. Thorough before and after studies have been conducted on PURE Rooms, and after being treated with the patented PURE program, rooms have been shown to have 90 percent less airborne allergens and particles.

In order to maintain the PURE room experience for guests, the property will follow a rigorous, seven-step, US patented process to remove up to 99% of pollutants from the air. In this process, surfaces in the room are specially cleansed and treated to remove allergens. The air and water are also treated. Mattresses and pillows are encased in soft and breathable hypoallergenic coverings to protect guests from dust mite allergens. Carpets and upholstery are re-cleaned every few months to keep them pure.

In addition, all “PURE suites” at Ascott Raffles City Chengdu feature deluxe bedding encasements, with virtually allergen free pillow and mattress covers, to protect guests from irritants and pollutants. The cutting edge air purification technology to improve air quality and provide a superior living experience, will now be available for guests’ selection as part of the property’s Long Stay- Focused Wellness Program. Each room is updated every six months and monitored to insure that it meets strict allergy guidelines for healthy spaces, with a re-certification process every 2 years.
